Early Life & Education

Burcu Kılıçlı was born on June 16, 1998, in Ankara, Turkey. She completed her primary education at Dedeman Primary School and graduated from Ayrancı High School, Department of Information Technologies.

From an early age, she combined academic discipline with athletic achievement. She began professional swimming at 13 and earned her athlete license. She later obtained licenses in kickboxing and modern pentathlon, and also received professional horse riding training. Her competitive sports background strengthened her discipline, resilience, and performance-driven mindset.

Academically, she ranked 73,000 in Turkey’s national university entrance exam (quantitative field) and graduated from Gazi University, Department of Computer Programming.

During high school, she was selected for a one-month international software training program in Prague, Austria, and Germany, where she also completed a software-focused internship.

Technology & Software Background

She developed a web application for TÜBİTAK using C# and Visual Studio, completing the project within three months and reaching the finals in Ankara.

During her studies at Gazi University, she focused on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence systems. For her graduation project, she developed a YOLOv4-based object detection and classification system integrated with OpenCV and deployed on Raspberry Pi devices.

After graduation, Burcu began working as a freelance web developer, building and managing websites for various businesses.
